Effective date: 10/21/2026
Red Oak Fabrication (“Red Oak,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through redoakfabrication.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information you give us
We collect information you choose to send us, including when you:
- Contact us — your name, email, phone number, company, and your message.
- Request a quote — your name, company, email, and (optionally) phone number; details about your project such as the services you need, quantity, timing, and finish; and any drawings, files, or file-share links you upload or paste in.
- Apply for a job — your contact information, the type of work you’re interested in, availability, education, work history (including past pay rates), references, your answer to a question about criminal convictions, and any resume you upload. We do not ask for your Social Security number through the Site.
- Email or call us — whatever you include in that conversation.
Please don’t send us information we haven’t asked for, especially sensitive personal information.
2. Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, some information is collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you got to the Site, and how you interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, and time on page). We use these tools to do it:
- Google Analytics, to understand how many people visit and which pages they use. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy, or opt out with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with pages (including session replays and heatmaps) so we can find and fix problems. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement (privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement) and may use it for its own purposes, including improving its products and advertising.
- Embedded YouTube videos. When you play a video on the Site, YouTube (owned by Google) may set its own cookies and collect information under Google’s privacy policy.
- Spam protection on our forms. We use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects device and interaction information to tell people from bots and is governed by Google’s privacy policy and terms of service. Our forms also use a hidden spam-trap field that collects no information about you.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use cookies that the Site needs to work, and — only with your consent where required — analytics cookies from the tools listed above. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie icon that stays in the corner of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.
4. How we use your information
- To answer your questions and respond to quote requests.
- To review files and drawings you send and prepare a quote.
- To review job applications and contact applicants.
- To run, secure, and improve the Site, and to protect it from spam and misuse.
- To keep records and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for anything unrelated to the reason you gave it to us.
5. Drawings and project files
Drawings, prints, and files you send with a quote request are used to evaluate and quote your project. They are shared only with the Red Oak team members who need them for that purpose, and with outside partners only when needed to complete your job. If your project requires a non-disclosure agreement, let us know — we’re happy to work under yours.
6. Job applicants
Applications submitted through the Site are stored in our website system and sent by email to the Red Oak team that handles hiring. Only people involved in hiring decisions have access to them. We keep applications for 12 months and then delete them, unless you’re hired, in which case your application becomes part of your employment file. Submitting an application does not create an offer or guarantee of employment.
7. How we share information
We share information only:
- With service providers who help us run the Site and our business — for example, our website host and developers, email providers, and the analytics tools above — and only for that purpose.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Red Oak, our customers, or others.
- As part of a sale, merger, or reorganization of our business, in which case the information would remain protected by this policy or one like it.
8. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires.
9. How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect, including a secure (HTTPS) connection and limited access to form entries. No website or email system is completely secure, though, so please don’t send anything through the Site you can’t afford to have exposed.
10. Your choices
- You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below.
- You can decline or change analytics cookies using the cookie banner or your browser settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under your state’s law. Contact us and we’ll help.
11. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. The minimum age for employment at Red Oak Fabrication is 18 years old.
12. Links to other sites
The Site may link to other websites, such as our social media pages or partners. We’re not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page.
