Common Questions About Quoting

How fast will I hear back?

Within 24 hours, during business hours. That's the standard we hold our engineering team to. You'll also get an automatic confirmation the moment your request comes through, so you know it landed.

It goes to one person first, and it stays that way on purpose. Your request gets reviewed, then goes to whoever needs to see it — powder coating, tube laser, welding, machining. You don't get handed around, and you don't end up explaining the same job to five different people.

DXF, DWG, STEP, PDF, a ZIP, or a photo. If your files are too big to attach, paste a Dropbox or file-share link instead — that works just as well.

Yes. Some customers send us complete files and we nest them for the lasers. Others bring us a part, a sketch, or a drawing on a napkin and ask us to work it out — and we do. Our drafting team builds the manufacturing files from whatever you've got, including from the physical part itself.

Most turnkey work runs 4 to 6 weeks — cut, formed, welded, coated and delivered. Powder coating on its own is considerably faster. If you're used to waiting 12 weeks on fabricated parts, that's worth a conversation.

No formal minimum. We quote one-off and prototype work alongside ongoing production runs. Tell us which one you're looking at and we'll price it accordingly.

Either. Plenty of customers send us powder coating only, or laser cutting only. Turnkey is what we're built for, but it isn't a requirement — check the services you need and that's what we'll quote.

Typically ±1/32" and ±1 degree through a production run. If a feature needs tighter than that, note it on your request and our drafting team will confirm it against the process before we quote.

Yes, we work under NDA regularly. We don't have a standard form of our own, so send us yours and we'll work from it.

Often, yes — and the best time is before your design is locked. Our drafting team reviews your files against the machines that will actually run them, and we'll flag anything adding cost without adding value: a non-standard sheet gauge, a bend radius that needs custom tooling, a tolerance tighter than the part really needs.
